Raspberry Dragon Fruit Mock Mojito

Dragon fruit Älsa puts an exotic, energy-boosting spin on this non-alcoholic version of the classic Cuban cocktail. Serve this healthy energy drink recipe for a weekend brunch with a long-lasting boost!


Prep Time: 30 minutes

Serves: 2 (Makes about 16oz)

(Use a tall 10 to 12 oz glass)



For the raspberry simple syrup:

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen (thawed first) raspberries
  • ¼ cup/60ml honey
  • ½ cup/4 oz filtered water


For the raspberry dragonfruit mock mojitos:

  • 1 Älsa Dragon Fruit packet
  • 4oz filtered water
  • 8- 10 mint leaves
  • 2-4 lime slices
  • 3 oz fresh lime juice
  • 3 oz raspberry simple syrup
  • Crushed ice
  • 6 oz soda water or sparkling water
  • Extra fresh raspberries and mint leaves for garnish


To make the simple syrup:

In a saucepan combine the raspberries, honey and water. Cook the mixture over medium heat until the honey dissolves and the raspberries soften (about 5 minutes).

Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the mixture to steep covered for at least 20 minutes.

Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer, pressing on the solids to extract all the liquid.  Let cool and chill in the fridge until needed.


To make the mojitos:

Mix the contents of one Älsa Dragon Fruit packet with 4 oz of filtered water until completely dissolved.  Set aside.

Divide the mint leaves and lime slices in the bottom of 2 tall glasses and muddle to release oils and flavors.

Add 3 oz of lime juice, 3 oz of raspberry simple syrup, and the pre-mixed dragon fruit to a cocktail shaker filled with crushed ice.  Shake well and pour into glasses. Top each glass with 3 oz of soda water.

Garnish with extra raspberries and mint leaves if desired.
